"Quantum Yellow" is the appropiate name for the striking colour on this Kia Xceed. Not our usual cup of tea, but with just two owners, 64.000km on the clock, excellent condition, full maintenance history and official KIA warranty, it was hard to pass up.
This is a plug-in hybrid, meaning it gets a "Blue Zero" sticker, so it benefits from lower taxes, free parking in some areas and lower toll prices, amongst others. The car comes with two charging cables, one for home sockets and one for fast chargers.
The build quality of this car is surprisingly good. The fit and finish both inside and out is nice and everything feels tight and pleasant to the touch. The interior is mixed leather, giving it an overall premium feel.
Equipment is plentiful, with a myriad of driving assistance, from lane keep, to a rearview camera, to front assist. Technology is also present, with a digital cockpit, full smartphone integration, and much more. Comfort isn't forgotten either, with a dual zone automatic climate control and plenty of amenities.
The drivetrain is smooth and sufficiently powerful. But what really stands out is the fuel economy. The trip computer hasn't been reset for over 10.000km and the average fuel consumption in that time has been 3.1l/100km! (75mpg).
Overall a fantastic hatchback providing great day to day usability and modern features, in a truly remarkable colour and top of the line trim. It still has KIA warranty until 2028 and has been maintained exclusively at KIA dealerships.
