Undiscreet top-down cruising is what this 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible offers. A sweet design in a striking spec, this appearance will leave nobody indifferent.
Assembled in Canada and sold new in Michigan, this car found its way to Spain in 2017, after being repaired in Estonia and made EU compliant in Germany. It briefly lived near Valencia before heading up to Barcelona, where it has been since 2018.
The black and red combination is striking and the opposite of discreet. Together with its angular design, it screams for attention wherever it goes, especially amongst European traffic.
It comes with a 3.6 liter V6, powering the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It makes 312hp and 377Nm, so it’s no slouch and gets to 100 kph from a standstill in about 6 seconds.
Its equipment includes xenon headlights, cruise control, electric front seats, air conditioning, a board computer and some other basic ammenities like power windows, locks and a multimedia radio.
Maintenance history is available from 2017 on, and it has been serviced at the same garage ever since, religiously following yearly work. The last service was performed just under 2000km ago.
The car is in good condition inside and outside, but like most American cars from this era, it suffers from poor quality plastics and upholstery, as seen on the peeling steering wheel or some scratched surfaces.
